Ampex Data Systems, a Delta Information Systems Company, has announced their receipt of a contract from Lockheed Martin Mission Systems and Training (MST), Owego, NY to provide the Ampex TuffServ 640 (TS640) Airborne NAS 10GigE Server/Recorders to be utilized in Lockheed’s new advanced Mission System. The first systems will be utilized under a FMS Contract for the P-3 aircraft platform. Under this contract Ampex will provide the TS640 File Servers and Support. The TS640 is a state-of-the art, high-data rate, multi-terabyte storage and compute platform.
